Alexandria Hicks Fabrications

My name is Alexandria, but I usually go by Lex. I’ve got a wide range of skills from a formal art education with a focus on traditional drawing and painting, to prop fabrication, SFX makeup, and costuming.

I bring a unique background to the table with 8 years of formal art training, where I studied everything from 2D illustration and painting to 3D sculpture. I also hold a degree in health science with a focus on anatomy and physiology.

In my spare time, you’ll find me creating costumes and props for film, conventions, or just for the love of the craft. I’m self-taught in the SFX and fabrication side, with a working knowledge of a wide range of techniques: carved foam weapons, trauma makeup, silicone experiments, aging, weathering. Whatever you're looking for, honestly.

I love building things from the ground up… or tearing them down to scraps. Either way, I’m ready to get to work. I’m coachable, hands-on, and excited to help bring your next production to life—one prop, bruise, or piece of fabric at a time.
